Why Kiambu Hillcrest Academy

A school built on purpose

For more than a quarter of a century we have given children in Kanunga and the wider Kiambaa Constituency an education that is enjoyable, morally grounded and academically demanding.

01

Our School

Kiambu Hillcrest Academy is a private mixed day and boarding elementary school in Kanunga Village. We opened our doors as a nursery school in 1998 and have grown into a full primary institution serving families across Kiambu County.

02

Our Mission

To give every child an excellent educational experience — one that is enjoyable, instils moral values and helps each learner reach their full potential, academically, socially, spiritually and physically.

03

Our Vision

To be the leading holistic learning community in Kiambu County — producing confident, disciplined and compassionate young people who are ready to serve and to lead wherever life takes them.

Our People

Small classes. Big attention. Every child is known by name.

Academics & Performance

Results that speak before we do

Hillcrest has been noted for strong national examination performance — at times leading the sub-county in KCPE results. Our teaching is deliberate: continuous assessment, small-group remedial sessions, holiday clinics and one-to-one follow-up for any learner who falls behind.

Under the Competency Based Curriculum we continue to deliver a broad, comprehensive primary education that develops the whole child — not just the examinee.

Qualified Teachers

A committed team of TSC-registered and trained educators who know every learner personally.

Tracked Progress

Termly assessments, clear reporting and parent meetings that keep families in the loop.
